Rollin' at the mall

I wonder if there will be more "tippytoe" walkers in this generation of kids. It seems a possibility because so many of them have to walk on their toes so they don't start rolling on those shoes with the little wheels. I think the skate shoes were a popular Christmas gift again.

Obviously, I have no research or data of any kind to back this up, which is true of most of my theories. But I did see a lot of kids toe-walking at the mall yesterday, right before they put down their heels and started rolling toward the food court.

I even saw a pretty entertaining wipeout. It reminded me of when I was a kid and would go to the "Great Skate" roller-skating rink. There was always some massive wipeoout that would knock half the skaters down like a set of dominoes.

I was part of the carnage on several occasions. Ah ... good times.
