Slam dunks and purple nurples
The new minor-league professional basketball team in Syracuse, N.Y., will go by the name "Bullies." As you can imagine, this has upset some anti-bullying advocates.
In this story, one anti-bullying advocate said the team name goes against everything anti-bullying educators are trying to get across to kids. I agree after hearing that the team mascot is a little kid wearing thick glasses who runs around the court while suffering an atomic wedgie.
But it turns out the mascot is actually a bull. And there are no plans for him to pick out fans and give them noogies at halftime.
I included the links above so that everyone knows about atomic wedgies and noogies. With your help, we can eradicate these menaces. Swirlies, too.
