Lawmakers tilting, possibly whirling

Finally, all of the serious work by state legislatures is over. That's obviously the case in Minnesota, because a state representative has introduced a bill designating the Tilt-A-Whirl as the official amusement ride in Minnesota.

You betcha. Let's go get an ice-cold pop. (Oh yah, most of my relatives are from Minnesota).

I'm not sure what the official amusement ride in Texas would be. But if anyone has a suggestion, please send it to our elected officials. They might get to it after naming the official non-dairy creamer of the Lone Star state.
