Monster toads better get a little wiser
Take a gander at the toad to the right. It's nearly two punds, earning it the description of "monster toad" from the environmental group in Australia that found it.
It also could be described as "dead," because the environmental group goes on raids to collect and kill these poisonous toads. The environmentalists round them up, kill them with carbon monoxide, freeze them and turn 'em into "sensational" fertilizer.
Reached for comment during a visit to the set of NBC's Today Show, Kermit the Frog had this to say:
"I'm a frog, not a toad. Why would you ask me?"
