I'm just a bill, just a polka-song bill ...

I'm not sure if Minnesota politicians decided to make the tilt-a-whirl the state's official amusement park ride, but Connecticut state lawmakers have proven they can also take on big issues.

One bill currently being proposed concerns naming "Ballroom Polka" Connecticut's official polka song. But perhaps the bigger news in the story is that, if the bill passes, Connecticut would be the second state in America to adopt an official polka. Massachussetts already has one.

This has got to be depressing for this sad little scrap of paper.
