A man in Danville, Calif., built an 18,000 square-foot Little League practice field in his backyard. It's for his son, and it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
That's the price you pay for a Field of Dreams.
And the price got even higher when it became a field of nightmares. Government officials said he must tear it down because he didn't get the necessary permits.
Those officials better watch out. They may be haunted by the spirit of Shoeless Joe Jackson.
