The sun rotates around the Earth ... final answer
We always hear that Americans aren't educated, but here's a great -- and hilarious -- example of a brain cramp in France. Here is the question a man is asked on the French version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?:
What rotates around the Earth?
A. The moon
B. The sun
C. Mars
D. Venus
He doesn't know the answer. But it gets even better when he asks the audience for help. More than half the audience apparently fell asleep in third-grade science. I guess French schools don't include the typical grade-school project of creating galaxy mobiles by painting styrofoam balls.
