Amazon.com now has music downloads

Amazon.com has begun a digital-music download service to compete with iTunes. The songs, most priced from 89 cents to 99 cents, don't have software that limits how customers can store and play the tunes.

Great news! Just 89 cents for The Lady is a Tramp performed by William Shatner.

Also available: "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred

Try pulling up the "I'm Too Sexy" page for a laugh. According to amazon.com, people who bought songs from the Right Said Fred album also bought:

Juice Newton's Greatest Hits
Number Ones by Kenny Rogers

Really?
