Big Tex is ready for the fried festival
Big Tex is now upright and prepared for the start of the State Fair. If you want to see video of the preparations, you can find pieces of Tex here.
I saw that the fair's Web site has a way to search for food at the fair. Categories include French food, Cajun food and Asian food, but shouldn't there be one for miscellaneous grease?
Or how about one for most unneccesary fried food? The fair always has a few of those each year, and all that grease doesn't sit well if you take on one of the wilder rides.
