How to deal with bullies

What's the best way to stop bullies?

Ignore them? Confront them? Find other people to take them down?

Well, you'll find this tip in my column:

A sports team or a club can help, because kids bond when they have similar interests. In the case of dealing with bullies, a youth archery club might be perfect. Even if your child doesn’t make new friends, most bullies will be scared off by the comment of “I can pierce any target with an arrow from 50 yards away.”

I didn't say it was a good tip.
