According to this story, "Time Warner Inc. Chief Executive Officer Richard Parsons delivered outstanding performance for his shareholders in 2006 without a stupendous pay package."
Not-so-exciting news for the people reading this who are not in line to be a chief executive officer:
Even a not-so-stupendous pay package equals $18.3 million per year. Of course, that total probably includes food stamps so he can scrape by.
