This bagel will save you about 998 bucks.

The Westin Hotel in Times Square is now offering a bagel that costs $1,000.

Yes, a thousand bucks for one bagel. So what do you get for that heap of cash?

The bagel is topped with Alba white truffle cream cheese and goji berry infused Riesling jelly with golden leaves.

Oh, OK. I guess it all makes sense now. Here's what the chef had to say about it:

"I wanted to create something that speaks to New York."

So is he saying New Yorkers are morons?
