A Christmas-play memory

From another reader:

My mother still chuckles about a play our Kindergarten class put on in 1953.
The boy who played the innkeeper was from a very hospitable family. When he told Joseph and Mary there was no room in the inn, he added

"But won't you come in for a drink?"
