Tiny possum, giant rat ... science rules!
Researchers in a remote jungle in Indonesia have discovered a giant rat and a tiny possum that are apparently new to science.
According to the story, this underscores the stunning biodiversity of the Southeast Asian nation. It also marks the first, and probably last, time that "stunning biodiversity" and "giant rat" will be connected.
Now, if the giant rat and tiny possum were discovered together, that would be stunning. And if they were searching for their friend -- the medium-sized, cute-as-a-button hedgehog -- it could be the start of the next Pixar movie.
