Dave Barry's year in review

We're now three days into the new year, but here's the 2007 Year in Review from Dave Barry. It's kind of late for me to be calling attention to it, but I just finished reading it.

And I started about a week ago.

Yes, it's long, but just about anything Barry writes is worth some time. Especially now that he's semi-retired and semi-doing the job everybody wants. I remain fully jealous of him.

Here's a great memory from 2007:

Mattel, responding to new reports of hazardous materials in Chinese-made products, recalls millions of toys. A Mattel spokesperson insists that ''there is no cause for alarm,'' but suggests that consumers who have come into contact with the Barbie Magic Kitty Dream Castle should ''seek medical help'' and "try not to breathe on anyone.''

Excellent advice. Here's Dave Barry's year in review.
