Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds, who were married Jan. 1 in Bora Bora, announced Wednesday they are splitting up. Fifteen days! Are they even over the jet lag yet from their honeymoon?

“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," they announced in a joint statement.

Yeah, the ceremony in Bora Bora didn't have legal status in America. A good thing, I guess. Saves them some paperwork.

But much consideration and discussion? Did that start right after the wedding guests left?

I guess "over" is the best way to define the relationship.
