I've received my final notice again
I received yet another call from one of my credit-card issuers last night. It's always for the same credit card, with an offer to lower my interest rate. I don't have a balance on the card, so lowering the rate means nothing to me, but my favorite part comes near the end of the message:
"This offer expires soon, so this is your final notice."
Of course, I've received that final notice about a half dozen times. The message finishes with this:
"If you don't want to receive further notices, press 2."
You know, further final notices.
