Naming the baby ... help from readers

I've received more than 20 e-mails in response to Monday's column, Let's play 'Name That Baby.'

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions for baby names. Some really good ones, and also some good pointers, including, "Don't use the name Sharmonica. Somebody has already used that."

Pretty scary. I wonder if Sharmonica has siblings named Mandolina and Giltar.

I also got a note from a guy who wrote on his blog about trying to come up with a name for his son. He and his wife did a poll on his blog, and he found some interesting names on football rosters. Might be a strategy for me.
