The year in travel: 2007

If you didn't see the DMN's roundup of weird travel stories for 2007, it's here. Some pretty funny stories, especially if you weren't involved.

This is one of my favorites:

A BBC investigation revealed that a company operating a parking lot near London's Gatwick Airport uses customers' cars while they're away, racing them, running errands and getting into accidents.

Reminds me of that great scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, with the valets taking the Ferarri for a spin while Ferris and friends were taking the day off.
