Watch your body language at work

A story from BusinessWeek online passes along tips for how to have proper body language at work. Important stuff, especially if your only positive body language is a tattoo on your forearm that says, "I love mom."

One of the tips is to make lots of eye contact with peers in meetings. Another is to "animate yourself," which means to use lots of gestures when you talk.

For example, if you're presenting a case for why Wall Street should be a bull market in the next quarter, you should snort loudly, make pretend horns with your hands and then attempt to gore people. That shows great initiative.

Or that you've been drinking at work.
